Mike's extensive fleet experience includes 23 years with Yellow Freight Systems, including the management of four large service centers, three major distribution centers, two large divisions, Director of Process Development in the Western U.S., and VP of Operations. He has been president of First Vehicle Service for six years, and is committed to driving the processes that satisfy the FVS core values:
Mike holds a Business degree from the University of Arizona, a Masters Degree in Business Administration and Six Sigma Black Belt certification. He is an honored recipient of Yellow Corporation's Chairman's Award, the American Society of Quality's Operational Excellence Award, and the Ohio Baldridge Quality Award. He is additionally an actively training second-degree black belt and graduate of the two-year Traditional Japanese Karate Federation Instructor Certification Program, and winner of the Western States Shotokan Karate Championships. Dale has served in fleet operations since 1980, having held fleet management positions in municipalities as well as private businesses such as Wolverine Packing for 17 years. He holds a BBA from Detroit College, an MBA from Michigan State, and is a Six Sigma Yellow Belt. He has been with First Vehicle Services for five and a half years, and believes that we provide the best value through our proven processes and the standardization procedures we implement. He stresses continuous improvement, operational excellence through compliance with ISO standards, quality processes through Six Sigma training, safety standards such as VPP, and employee training and testing using such certifications as ASE and Blue Seal. Harry's vast experience covers every aspect of fleet management and maintenance, including the management and direction of more than 80 public and private fleet management projects. He is currently responsible for the management and maintenance process for over 45,000 units in over 130 locations throughout North America. His many qualifications include a Master Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma and certification as an ISO 9001:2000 Internal Quality Auditor. He manages over 10,000 personnel who possess more than 3,300 ASE certifications, 281 EVT certifications, and has 49 ASE Blue Seal facilities along with seven of the Top 100 fleets in America. Wayne has been with First Vehicle Services for four years, and has over 30 years of professional financial experience to his credit. He has held several accounting and finance positions as well as serving as a CPA partner for 13 years. He has an additional 14 years as a CFO in various types of businesses, including services, marketing, distribution, printing, and manufacturing. Wayne is a staunch supporter of Risk Management, and states, “Safety is of utmost importance. We have established a world-class safety program that implements the latest in facility compliance, PPE’s, safety alerts, hazard control, training, VPP certification, and much more. We are continually seeking ways to improve upon existing procedures.” Wayne holds a BA in Accounting from Harding University, and an MBA in Accounting and Marketing from the University of Cincinnati. Bobbie has over 15 years experience in the service industry, with a background in sales, communications, and marketing. She holds a BA in Communication Arts and a Master's in Business Administration. An experienced trainer, she also teaches college in the evenings and on weekends. She is a Six Sigma yellow belt, and is responsible for implementation of the "I Take Safety Personally" program at all First Vehicle Services locations. A 20-year veteran of the trucking industry, Kevin has held a number of fleet management, sales, and operations positions, including Division VP. He has been with First Vehicle Services for five years, during which time he has been instrumental in providing seamless integration from public to private operations, using proven FVS processes. He possesses a Business Degree in Economics from Ft. Lewis College in Durango, CO, and currently resides in Cave Creek, AZ. Matt holds an Economics Degree from Millersville Unviersity of Pennsylvania, and has been in the Fleet and Automotive industries for quite some time. His most recent experience comes from Tire Kingdom, where he was the top producer in outside sales. Prior to that he was with Monro Service Corporation, where he was Commercial and Fleet Sales Manager for nine states, He additionally spent five years with Penske Corporation, where he was Regional Fleet Director, as well as having worked in the Truck Leasing and Automotive Center divisions.
